Newport welcomes you to explore our town! Plan to spend the day and enjoy what Newport has to offer. In addition to delicious food and cool drinks, the Discover Newport Food Truck Festival will have music, kids activities, and small town goodness! Enjoy 22 food trucks, breweries and wineries lining Third Street between Market and Walnut Streets. There will be something for everyone – brisket, crab cakes, pretzels, ice cream, donuts, bar-b-que, beer, wine, and more! The event also features music all day, children’s games and crafts, photo booths, a walking tour, face painting, along with our vibrant downtown businesses featuring specials for the day, along with chance to win a gift basket for visiting.

Music

Katz 22 will perform at 11 am and 1:30 pm.

This is powerhouse rock and roll experience featuring the superb vocal harmonies and excellent musicianship of John Hawk on drums, Rusty Fohner on bass and vocals, and Kathy Rimm on lead guitar and vocals. The band’s music is the best arena rock ever made, and they strive to perform many epic hits that most other bands lack the prowess to attempt.
